Q. I just the equipment, can I order without buying any kegs?

Q. I have equipment, can I order just the kegs?

Q. How are the delivery/collection charges determined?
Our standard delivery charges are detailed on our Delivery Rates Page.
Q. Does delivery charge include setting up and testing?
Yes, we leave your beer ready-to-pour.
Q. Can I pick the stuff up from you and drive out of Dublin?
Not really, we prefer to set up each unit at its final location. Some people have done this in the past, so we consider each order on a case-by-case basis. A deposit and other charges may apply. Call us for a chat on 086-8500016. This only applies to non-Dublin events.
Q. Should I get a spare keg? Is there a sale/returns policy?
We advise our customers to always plan for the best. A second or third Standby-Keg can be provided at a charge of €20 per untapped returned keg. If these kegs are tapped, only the balance amount is due. Better to be looking at it, than for it.
Q. How many kegs will I need?
Top 4 factors when considering the number of kegs required:
1. The Guest List: How many folks are expected?
This is a pretty obvious determinant. Are you expecting a very definite number or have you left the invites open ended. Will people bring friends? Aim to reduce the guessing game by texting and emailing RSVP requests with all communications.
2. The drinking habits of your guests.
Are they big beer guzzlers, or are quite a lot of them likely to be drinking wine or soft drinks? We often suggest annotating the guest list with a W for wine, G for Guinness, H for Heineken etc... Then multiply the numbers for each by your estimate of what they might actually consume.
3. Do you expect guests to bring booze?
Have you spelled out a BYOB policy? Or, are they likely to just bring a bottle of wine as a gift? If so, will one keg really be enough? If they do bring beer, do you have ice and bottle bins to make sure it can be used on the night.
4. The location, and planned end time of the party are important.
Is it an all-nighter, a pre-pub bash or an evening drinks party?
Is there a plan for getting people home? Will a second wave arrive late in the evening?
Q: When do Delivery and Collection take place?
Deliveries normally take place on the Thursday before your Party. Collections take place on Monday and Tuesday evening after your Party. We can suit other times, so please call Kieran for a chat on 086-8500016.
Q. How long can we keep equipment for if we do not finish keg on the night of the party?
Each keg unit is due for collection from Monday after the weekend. Sometimes, it can be left for a few extra days. Any period past Wednesday must be booked in. If final period carries over 2 weekends, an extra charge will apply.
Q. How do I pay for the beer?
You can pay online or over the phone with Laser/Credit Cards. Cheques and cash on delivery can be arranged also. Call us for a chat on 086-8500016.
Q. Is it ever too late to order?
We advise ordering atleast 4 days in advance. Nevertheless, it is always worth a shot. If we are not out-the-door busy, we will make every effort to get beer to you. Txt Kieran on 086-8500016 for late availability.
Q. I have ordered two kegs for next weekend online. What do I need to do between now and then?
You can call us to make sure we have the correct contact details.
We can then agree a specific delivery time. We can also go through the order line-by-line, to make sure you have included all the items you will need.
In advance of the delivery, it is very helpful to make sure there is a clear access to route to the bar location. Are there plug points nearby? If not, having an extension cable ready makes the set-up that big quicker for us.
Q. Do you guys do wine and spirits?
We can source wine and spirits for parties. Email Kieran with your requirements.
Q. If I don't hire one of the cool bar units, can I use a shelf or does the keg need to be fixed to a free standing bar etc?
We have attached the taps to many things in our time. Breakfast bar counters are best, but most tables will do.
Q. I have seen different prices for your beer on a number of flyers. What's with that?
There are a number of different flyers in circulation since the summer of 1999. Our prices have changed due to changes imposed on us further up the line. We do not apologise for our prices. They help us maintain our ability to stay in business. We really cannot sell the beer at lower prices. We provide the highest quality equipment, beer and service.?
