Testimonials
from satisfied Brewcrew users.
"Just
like to say a quick thanks to all the staff at brewcrew for helping
us drown our sorrows after the spanish game. We got kegs in instead
of going to a packed smokey pub, it was much better. From the order
to the delivery you were very accomadating. It was great having
your own tap in the house. I will definitly be looking for another
reason to call you out again and I have already reccomended you
to friends for parties."
Keith Ryan.
"Beckett's
lager was fabulous".
Zoe Reid.
"I
was recently at a friends party who availed of your service, and
I was well impressed. The beers they had chosen definitely went
down well and the fact that all you need is provided for you is
an added bonus. I would definitely refer it to other people as it
works out a great deal cheaper and more fun than getting a load
of cans."
Yvonne Rossiter.

BEER
MAY BE GOOD FOR A MAN'S SEX LIFE
A Czech doctor says that by drinking beer every day men may keep
their sex lives active. "If men rink two beers a day they can
stave off impotence," says Dr. Pavel Zemek of the Czech Center
of Gerontology in Prague. Zemek says his research shows beer can
have a "powerful effect" to stop the arteries becoming
blocked. "On the basis of clinical tests we can say moderate
amounts of beer lessens arterial sclerosis, one of the causes of
erectile dysfunction," he told a local newspaper. As others
do when discussing beer and health, he warns against excessive drinking.
"Drink too much beer in one go and the positive effects are
negated," he says, "but, as the saying goes, a little
bit of what you fancy does you good."
BEER
BELLY SAVES MAN'S LIFE
A Birmingham, England, man who was attacked with a power saw says
his beer belly probably saved his life. Shaun Reaney, who weighs
22 stone (about 308 pounds), was slashed across the stomach. He
suffered an 18- inch wound when he was attacked by four men. His
beer belly kept the blade of a circular saw from touching his internal
organs. "It's a good job I had that layer to protect me,"
he told a local newspaper. His wife, Theresa, added: "The doctors
told me if he had been 10 stone lighter he would have died. When
Shaun came round he reminded me that years of boozing had saved
his life."
PUB
GIVES 75-YEAR-OLD FREE BEER FOR LIFE
A British retiree has been given free beer for life at his local
pub after spending 60 years as a paying customer. The Red Hart at
Three Holes in Norfolk made that a present to Dennis Forth to mark
his 75th birthday. Forth began drinking shandy at the pub when he
was 15. "He's by far our most loyal customer. The next we have
has been coming for 40 years," said pub manager Peter Phillips.

A hangover
cure based on volcanic dust may soon be available according to a
UK company Zetox. They claim the pills, which can already be bought
over the internet, absorb toxins from alcohol "like Velcro".
The
company says the mineral has been used as a traditional detoxifying
agent for filtering water, purifying animal feed and treating victims
of nuclear contamination from Chernobyl.
Dr
Guy Ratcliffe of the UK Medical Council on Alcohol said the substance
sounded "potentially promising". http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/2131588.stm

What
is Snoo-Putt? Snoo-Putt is a combination of the two popular games
of snooker and golf (putting), and is played with golf balls and
putters. Thanks to Eoghan Cahill for bringing this to our attention.
Picture at http://www.propsireland.com/images/pic5.gif
You
could try this at home by standing up on your snooker table and
using a putter. Tall people could saw the legs off. Painting golf
balls with nail polish may get you some funny stares down the club
though.
