The World Cup has been keeping us very busy indeed. We set up quite a few rigs in offices last Wednesday. Superb result for all involved at the end of the day. Perhaps, it's time your boss thought about getting the beers in for Tuesday's game.

"Brew crew delivered kegs to our office for the Germany game. Great beer, zero hassle, and lots of fun. Thanks to them for the beer and to Robbie for the goal. We have booked again for Tuesday."

Majella, Harrington Bannon, Chartered Surveyors. www.harringtonbannon.ie

Why not cut this begging email out and send it around the office...

Hey everyone,

Let's bully management into sorting some beer for the game on Tuesday. A mate told me about some crowd called Brewcrew. 115 Euro per 30ltr keg, includes all equipment. 15 Euro for delivery. All the details are at http://www.brewcrew.ie. Would great for morale, dontcha think?

Of course, if you are the boss, this World Cup thing allows you to show off. Simply reply to this email with details of your Tuesday beer requirements or go to our order page at http://www.brewcrew.ie/order.htm.

You know it makes sense...

Remember The Beer Poll?

Beer Drinkers Choose on Taste - By Catherine O'Mahony - Sunday Business Post, 2 June, 2002.

"Despite the millions being spent on advertising beer brands in this country, 85 per cent of the target market are still convinced that they make their purchase of the basis of taste alone.

A few respondents -- just 7 per cent -- conceded that reliability was a factor in their choice of beer, while 3 per cent mentioned price. Only 1 per cent conceded that advertising was a factor, and none accepted that their peer group was involved.

At the same time, respondents to the poll appeared well aware of beer brand advertising, with 37 per cent naming Guinness as producing the best ads, followed by Budweiser at 23 per cent, Carlsberg at 22 per cent and Heineken at 12 per cent. The poll was conducted just as Carlsberg was running its latest TV ad campaign, starring Jason McAteer."
